The DfE recognised Emma&#8217;s contribution to Early Years in nominating her for this invitation. She took the trip to London with colleague Katy Hill, Executive Director of Education at Northern Lights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI feel incredibly proud, privileged and humbled to have been invited,\u201d said Emma. \u201cUnder beautiful sunny skies, in the presence of the King and Queen, with the stirring notes of the national anthem and brass bands filling the air, it was an unforgettable afternoon of elegance, tradition, and joy.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The garden party was a heartfelt tribute to education leaders \u2013 a moment of royal recognition and celebration that will be long remembered by all who attended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Katy Hill said: \u201cWhat made it even more special was how Their Majesties took the time to stop and chat.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jo Heaton OBE, Chief Executive of Northern Lights, said: \u201cI am delighted that Emma and Katy were able to attend, recognising their hard work and dedication.
