Tim trained as a journalist and photographer on local newspapers and magazines before setting up a communications agency specialising in public sector clients, mainly health, local government and education.
His work led to a series of award-winning communications and design campaigns. He has been awarded a Fellowship in his industry association, for excellence in business publications.
In 2010 he became involved in the fledgling academy programme, working with several multi-academy trusts in the north of England. He used his journalistic expertise to help both parents and carers come to terms with a shifting education landscape as well as assisting governors and school leaders of local authority maintained schools to understand the decentralisation of the system.
As director of communications, Tim’s role is be to make sure achievements are celebrated and objectives clearly explained through regular internal and external newsletters.
