With 20 years of private and public sector boardroom experience Jason is a qualified solicitor specialising in corporate finance, commercial contracting and governance, who works as an inhouse solicitor at a £4bn turnover national multi-site retailer.
He also works with the Department for Education as an appointed member of North-East Advisory Board and until 2023 was chair of a local Multi Academy Trust.
Jason’s former non-executive experience includes chair of the Joint Internal Audit Committee of the Police and Crime Commissioner and the Chief Constable for North Yorkshire Police, non-executive director and audit committee chair of an acute hospital NHS trust, non-executive director of a Yorkshire coast tourism partnership board and a pensions trustee.
