Educated at Sussex, Leeds and Cambridge Universities and starting as a School Leader in 2000, Dean brings a wealth of experience to the Headship at St Aidan’s.
Passionate about the difference education makes to the lives of young people, he ensures students are at the heart of all we do at St Aidan’s: their achievements, their wellbeing and their wider development as well-rounded human beings. To achieve this, Dean emphasises to students the importance of hard work, being kind, having faith and taking opportunities.
Committed to the role a school can play in the community it serves, he champions St Aidan’s welcoming to the site organisations ranging from sports clubs to holiday camps and pottery classes to faith groups.
Having played County and National League Rugby Union, Dean now spends many of his weekends as a Match Official with the Rugby Football Union.
