Katie’s background is in secondary education in the North East. She served as an HMI with Ofsted, leading inspections across primary, secondary and Initial Teacher Education providers and continues to inspect alongside her current role back in the education sector. Her current role is Deputy Chief Executive in an educational trust based in Northumberland, where her focus is on championing educational excellence, through curriculum development, teaching and learning and leadership development.
