
Carly Gent is the Hub Lead for Northern Lights Little Stars Early Years Stronger Practice Hub, driven by a passion for ensuring every child has the very best start in life. Carly is committed to improving outcomes for young children and supporting high-quality practice across Stockton-on-Tees, Middlesbrough, Redcar and Cleveland.
Alongside her role as Hub Lead, Carly has worked as a Local Authority Early Years Advisor, supporting settings to develop effective, evidence-informed approaches that enhance children’s learning, development and wellbeing. She is particularly passionate about professional development and empowering practitioners to continually strengthen their practice.
Carly also facilitates the National Professional Qualification for Early Years Leadership (NPQEYL) and contributes to Early Years Initial Teacher Training (ITT) delivery through the Trust’s Teaching Hub, helping to develop the next generation of Early Years leaders and practitioners. Through collaboration, coaching and a commitment to excellence, she strives to create lasting improvements that positively impact children, families and communities across the region.
