We are an enthusiastic, forward-thinking multi-academy trust, committed to providing the very best for our pupils. We currently comprise seven primaries and three secondaries across Teesside and Wearside.
We are a designated Teaching School Hub, one of just 87 centres of excellence identified by the Department for Education to lead the “golden thread” of teacher development from Initial Teaching Training, Appropriate Body, NPQs and CPD across Sunderland, South Tyneside, Gateshead and partners across the North East.
We work with the Department for Education to provide support to other schools, and work to support schools, Trusts and providers across the system in school improvement, historically as National and Specialist Leaders of Education.
We believe that development of all our staff is key to the high achievement of our schools, supported by a Trust school improvement strategy.
We celebrate the diversity that exists within our Trust and appreciate that each of our individual school families are as unique as the communities they serve. We are stronger from having both Church of England schools and community schools in our Trust.
We believe in providing our core purpose of education for all children and young people through our Trust values, for the common good of all of our communities.
We respect the individuality of our schools and believe they are best placed to meet the needs of their communities, including following their own curriculum and school values based on individual context.
We are all committed to supporting each other to ensure all our children can have fullness of life where all things are possible.
