Nikki is relentless in her drive to ensure young people achieve the very best outcomes. She believes that there should be no obstacle to the attainment and progress of students and that it is the leaders’ responsibility to remove these.
Nikki has worked in education for 24 years, originally starting as a PE teacher before progressing to senior leadership and then on to be a Principal and Executive Principal. She has served schools in some of the most deprived areas of the North East and has a proven successful track record of school improvement.
She holds strong views about equity for all and building effective relationships with staff, students, their families and the wider community, and firmly believes in Northern Lights Learning Trust’s vision of ‘shining stronger together’.
